With a budget of $400,000 and just 2 months, Weekend Makeover needs to find a new home- in pricy Boca Raton, Florida.  See what they find.

The new home has 2 ½ baths and all of them need a makeover.  Bisazza’s extraordinary glass mosaic tiles provide the inspiration for the whole makeover and Jud Whitehorn discusses the remodel.

The kitchen appliances are older model Whirlpool and they need an upgrade.  Whirlpool Gold appliances are installed in their place and make quite a difference.

Our new home needed a beautiful countertop- Limestone was the choice.  But, Limestone can’t stand up to red wine and is way too porous for our new home.  CaesarStones 93% quartz countertop in champagne limestone was the perfect fit.  Mateo Lisocki from Advanced Stone Works tells us why.

It would be a shame to add ordinary, bulky fixtures in our newly remodeled bathrooms.  See what we found to provide a perfect complement to the Bisazza tiles.

The old kitchen cabinets needed to go.  The new choice, Sutton Cliffs Cherry Cider from Merillat, added character to the home and some nice conveniences that the new homeowners will really enjoy.

Designer Laurie Smith of Trading Spaces fame has inspired a new line of trendy fabrics perfect for our windows and sliders.

Our intracoastal property is perfect to sit, relax and watch the boats go by.  But where are we going to sit.   We matched our new Laurie Smith fabrics with two recliners from Berkline.

With only two bedrooms and no room for a desk, we turn bedroom two into a home office.  Our selection is a beautiful desk and hutch inspired by Ernest Hemingway perfect for our waterfront home.

Laminate and white tile- it needs to go.  We discuss the benefits of engineered wood floors with an expert from Mullican Flooring and Weekend Makeover Dan Kelly installs Teak hardwood flooring from Mullican.

Weekend Makeover visits Stone County Iron Works in Mountain View, Arkansas and speaks to Philip Carr about the timeless look and craftsmanship of Iron furniture.  We add their Forest Hill Collection to our master bedroom.

The Brondell swash is a revolutionary new product that we add to our master bathroom.  One try and you’ll never go back to plain toilet paper and a cold toilet seat.

The best part of the new home is the intracoastal 10 feet from the back slider.  But no one seemed to go out back empty handed so we added a commercial quality opener from Syver-Tech so we could keep on walking.
